Rock / Nest
If you happen to be rock-hopping in the Pacific Northwest of America, I'd advise you to watch out for this beastie. Created by sculptor Eva Funderburgh, "Rock/Nest" is an original handmade sculpture, made of woodfired stoneware and porcelain. The piece was fired in a traditional Japanese- style anagama kiln for 5 days, creating their unique surfaces. One creature's rock is a another creature's nest, eh? Each little toothy guy is actually slightly mobile within the nest, so you can arrange them to face different ways. The piece measures 7" tall x 6" deep x 6" wide.
