Not so sluggish now, are we?

I got into the garden a bit late this morning – having had to deal with some ornery wuzzlethumps in the vivarium.

I assumed I would have a peaceful stroll across the wet grass and cogitate on my day’s agenda. A faulty assumption, I soon realized.

It appears that the slugs have developed quite the yen for caffeine. My fault, I suppose for layering my soil with old coffee grounds.

Though, if I were a slug and lived in a great horned owl’s garden, I’d want to be caffeinated and decidedly un-slug-like as well.
